Greer, Arizona offers four seasons of outdoor recreation adventures. Visitors can enjoy the diverse wildflowers that blanket the countryside in spring and summer. There is ample hiking, skiing, biking, fishing and camping. The local Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest has the world's largest groves of ponderosa pines to walk through or camp within. South of Greer is the East Fork Trail to Mount Baldy with stunning views along the six-mile trek.

Hidden Meadow Ranch offers visitors to Greer a one-of-a-kind outdoor experience. Guests can enjoy horseback riding, horse-drawn carriage rides, ice fishing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, canoeing, biking, and sledding. There is a hot tub, on-site dining and even leather-craft classes for guests. The ranch offers many arts and craft classes for children to enjoy. There is a library, lounge, stocked pond and trails. There are several guest cabins, each featuring a wood-burning fireplace, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and Wi Fi. Pets are welcome and there are accommodations for guest horses.

Molly Butler Lodge

The Molly Butler Lodge, originally built in 1908, has period decorations in each room. Rumor has it that ghosts haunt the historic Longhouse Lodge. Guests can choose from themed rooms such as the John Wayne Suite, the Zane Grey Suite or the Herbert Hoover Suite. Decorations in these rooms reflect the historical significance of these persons. The lodge also offers private cabin rentals for large groups or families. Guests can enjoy stargazing, skiing, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, biking, sleigh rides and even the chance to explore several ancient Native American archaeological digs.

Tin Star Inn

The Tin Star Inn has eight guest rooms, each with a television, VCR, microwave and refrigerator. Rooms all have queen-size beds. A few rooms also have bunk beds available or twin beds. The inn offers a view of the mountains for guests to enjoy. The inn does not allow pets, and the establishment is non-smoking. Guests may rent quad runners from the inn to ride on the local trail systems. There is a general store where guests can rent movies, buy fishing tackle or stock up on snacks.

Snowy Mountain Inn

The Snowy Mountain Inn prides itself on being kid and pet friendly. The inn offers 10 acres for guests to explore. There is a large playground and on-site trout fishing. There are miles of trails surrounding the inn and skiing available at nearby Sunrise Ski Park. The inn rents out eight log cabins that vary in size, with one, two and three bedrooms. All cabins have a kitchen complete with eating and cooking utensils. There is a television with VCR and full bathrooms. Cabins also have gas fireplaces. Each cabin has a front porch with a picnic table and barbecue.
