Tucson is not lacking in the motor home park department. Those rolling through the area will find more than 30 RV resorts, parks and campgrounds to choose from. Once set up, campers can explore region's highlights that include mountain biking along single and double track on the Starr Pass to Yetman Wash loop, hiking up the Ventana Canyon Trail with its 4,040 foot elevation gain or road biking past cactus in Tucson Mountain Park.

Rincon Country West RV Resort

Rincon Country RV Resort is located 20 minutes from the center of the city. This motor home park offers 1,139 back-in and pull-through sites. Full hookups include 50-amp service, Wi-Fi and cable. The resort's numerous amenities include a pool, hot tubs, a recreation hall, craft classes, pet areas, tennis courts, croquet, a putting green, basketball court, horseshoe pits, a fitness center, live entertainment, planned activities and barbecue areas. Visitors will find this resort sits at the southeastern edge of Tucson Mountain Park, where a hike along the 4.8 mile Honey Bee Canyon Trail yields appropriately scenic views.

Beaudry RV Resort

The Beaudry RV Resort is located 14 minutes from the center of town. Campers choose between 346 back-in and pull-through sites. Full hookups are available on all sites and include 50-amp service, telephone, cable and Wi-Fi. Resort amenities include a restaurant, two pools, a spa, a recreation hall, a playground, two dog walks, bocce ball, catch-and-release fishing, a fitness and wellness center, a dump station and RV supplies. The resort is 35 minutes from Colossal Cave Mountain Park, where visitors can explore and watch for the numerous bat species that call the park home.

Catalina State Park

For those less concerned about amenities and more interested in natural surroundings, Catalina State Park is an ideal choice. Campers will find 120 back-in and pull-through sites to choose from. All size RVs can be accommodated. Sites are not assigned and campers can switch sites any time. Twenty-five sites are primitive and 95 include water and electric (30- and 50-amp on every site). No sewer hookups are offered but the campsite does have two dump stations. Several trails for hikers with pets, bikers and horseback riders begin near the campsite including the strenuous 10.5 mile Sutherland Trail. The park is located 28 minutes from central Tucson.
