The West Village area of Dallas offers, in a compact area of several city blocks, lots of fantastic restaurants with an emphasis on fun, casual dining including great Mexican, Burger and more upscale options. There is convenient parking, and great shopping in the area. It's a well-planned experience that offers everything one would want for a great night out.

Feeling like Mexican?

There are two great Mexican restaurants in the West Village. Mi Cocina and Taco Diner are both fun, trendy places that you can go to have a great time with friends. The food is reasonable as are its margaritas. A place to see and be seen, while still keeping the bank account in check.

Village Burger Bar

The Village Burger Bar is a great, casual place with a fun scene and like the two Mexican restaurants listed above, a nice and lively patio. It has fun "make your own" burgers with a variety of topping combinations, and fantastic sweet potato fries. The food comes quickly, and it has a long bar, making it perfect for a quick solo dining experience.

A More Upscale Wine Bar

For those seeking a more upscale experience, Cru is a wine bar that also has a full dinner menu. It's known for its knowledgeable staff and quality food, but the quality comes at a price. Expect a dinner with a glass of wine to come to approximately $40 a person.
