Located in Orange County in northern Virginia, the town of Orange is surrounded by rolling hills, offers beautiful views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and is situated only a few miles west of Lake Orange. Named in honor of William IV, Prince of Orange, the hamlet's picturesque surroundings, as well as its close proximity to Lake Orange, make it an ideal destination for enjoying nature walks, fishing, boating, outdoor picnics and a variety of other recreational activities. The Holiday Inn Express Orange is located just one mile from the town's downtown area. All of the hotel's rooms have satellite cable TVs, coffee makers, microwave ovens, mini-refrigerators and high-speed Internet access. In addition, the hotel is only five miles from Skydive Orange, where guests can enjoy plane rides and skydiving activities. Hotel parking is available for all vehicle types. Inn on Poplar Hill

The Inn on Poplar Hill is a bed-and-breakfast housed in an 1890s Queen Anne Victorian town house built by Thomas Jefferson's great granddaughter. All of the hotel's rooms are uniquely decorated, and feature king- or queen-size beds, antique soaking tubs, Jacuzzi spas or Mr. Steam showers, bathrobes and custom window treatments. The hotel also offers guests a full country breakfast, complimentary homemade baked treats and sodas, free coffee and tea every morning and an on-site game room. In addition, the hotel is surrounded by 28 acres of landscape, including over four miles of natural trails, allowing guests to enjoy nature walks, biking, jogging, hiking and many other activities. Parking is available for all vehicles and pets are allowed in designated rooms for a nightly $25 fee.
