Triangle Fishing Lakes
Triangle Fishing Lakes is one of the only places in Middletown with public fishing. The lake requires guests to pay a small fee, but then allows unlimited fishing throughout the day. Bass and carp are two of the more popular types of fish found in the lakes and ponds, but you may also find perch or catfish, which are native to the southwest part of Ohio.

Rainbow Lakes
Rainbow Lakes is in the Dayton suburb of Fairborn and consists of 10 different fishing lakes open to the public. Trout, carp, channel catfish, pan fish and blue fish are a couple of the species stocked by the owners, but bass, crappie, perch and several varieties of catfish are also found in the lakes. Guests are allowed unlimited fishing for 12 hours for a small fee.

Possum Creek
The Possum Creek is part of the Possum Creek MetroPark in Dayton. The park covers nearly 600 acres and offers a number of activities, including horseback riding, canoeing, wildlife-viewing, hiking and fishing. The park also offers different fishing classes throughout the year for adults and children. Introduction to fishing is available for kids, while fly-fishing classes and night fishing are available for adults and those over age 14.

Middletown Sportsman's Club Lake
The Middletown Sportsman's Club is a member's-only club, with its own small fishing lake on-site. The fishing lake and other facilities are open to the general public during special events and competitions, and to guests of club members. The fishing lake is stocked by the club a few times every year and tourists and travelers have the option of contacting the club to request a day pass or to fish on the property.
