With the fertile Columbia Valley and the scenic Rocky Mountains surrounding the town, Radium Hot Springs is a popular vacation destination for those looking to enjoy a pure wilderness experience. The lodging choices in and around town range from a multi-faceted convention center, to lodges and locally-owned motels. With Kootenay National Park offering majestic hiking, biking, fishing and hot springs relaxation opportunities adjacent to town, there's plenty to keep you busy the length of your stay.

Chalet Europe Motel

The Chalet Europe Motel defies the typical motel stereotype, sitting high above Radium Hot Springs with incredible views of the Columbia Valley and the Rocky Mountains beyond. The motel itself is a four-story structure with all the markings of a Swiss Chalet from the outside. The chalet offers only seven rooms, each one a suite with a separate bedroom and living area where guests can stretch out after a day of hiking or wildlife viewing. There's a kitchenette in each room so you have the option of dining in or eating out at Citadella, which is adjacent to the property or at one of the many ethnic restaurants located in town, a short five-minute drive from the motel.
