Situated on the John D. Rockefeller Jr. Memorial Parkway between Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park, Flagg Ranch Resort offers RV camping and other lodging options close to both attractions and in a prime area for viewing wildlife. In addition, this National Park Service (NPS) authorized concessionaire can help you organize, plan and carry out the daily details of your northwestern Wyoming vacation.

Accommodations

Flagg Ranch Resort offers shaded RV pull-through campsites close to the Snake River, which flows through Grand Teton National Park. Camping prices include 24-hour access to hot showers and laundry facilities. An RV campsite with a 20-amp hookup, picnic table and fire ring costs $50 per night (one to two adults, plus $5 for each extra adult) as of 2010.

Additional accommodations at Flagg Ranch include tent camping and hotel-style rooms in log cabins. Tent campsites include the same features as RV campsites, minus the electrical hookup, for $25 per night (one to two adults, plus $5 for each extra adult). Log cabin accommodations include two queen beds or one king bed, plus a private bathroom. Rates range from $179 to $189 (2010). Children under 17 stay free with parents. Pets cost $10 per night per pet.

Though the resort contains nearly 100 campsites, you should make reservations well in advance to guarantee a spot at these, or any, of Flagg Ranch Resort's accommodations, especially during summertime. Usually open from mid-May through mid-September, Flagg Ranch Resort's accommodations are ADA compliant.

Along with offering a variety of lodging accommodations near both Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park, Flagg Ranch Resort provides travelers with an array of additional services, including a restaurant that serves hearty meals three times a day, a main lodge with a fireplace, a grocery store, a gas station, a gift shop and a pub.

Located only 2 miles south of the border of Yellowstone National Park, Flagg Ranch Resort offers a selection of NPS-authorized, guided tours of the park during the summer season. Tours that you can book through Flagg Ranch include a daylong interpretive tour of the park, as well as a kayaking adventure on Yellowstone Lake. In wintertime, though its lodging facilities do not stay open, Flagg Ranch offers guided snowmobile tours of the park.

Grand Teton

Situated just 5 miles north of the border of Grand Teton National Park, Flagg Ranch Resort offers access to an array of NPS-authorized activities that take place inside the park during summertime. These include a daylong interpretive tour of the park, as well as a gentle scenic float trip down the Snake River as it winds its way through Grand Teton National Park.

Choices include guided fly-fishing, horseback riding on the property's trails, or even a whitewater rafting trip down the Snake River, followed by a steak cookout.
