Campgrounds in Carrollton, Georgia

Carrollton, Georgia is in the northwest part of the state, about 50 miles west of Atlanta. RV resorts are not far away from Carrollton, so you can stay close to the action. Nearby interests include Sweetwater Creek State Park, Lake Carroll and Six Flags over Georgia. Cheaha Resort State Park, located across the border in Alabama, is also close by. Fishing, boating and hiking are available on the lakes and in area parks.

John Tanner State Park

John Tanner State Park is in Carrollton near West Regional Georgia Airport. The park has several recreation options such as paddle boats, swimming, fishing in the park's lake, hiking trails and a miniature golf course. Other features include picnic shelters, a playground, laundry facility, dump station and bathhouses. The park offers RV and tent sites along with electric, water and cable TV.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park is west of Carrollton in Bremen, Georgia. You will find many recreational options within the park including an outdoor pool, planned activities, playgrounds and miniature golf. Other features of the camp such as bathhouses, laundry room and a camp store help make your stay more comfortable. Tent and RV sites are available. All sites come equipped with water and electrical connections. RV sites also include sewer.

Cane 9 Creek RV Park

Cane 9 Creek RV Park is west of Carrollton in Heflin, Alabama. Outdoor fun at the campground includes hiking trails, picnic sites and creek. Amenities include Wi-Fi service, restrooms and laundry room. There are RV and primitive sites available. There is outdoor recreation in the Talladega National Forest, which surrounds the park.
