French Lick, Indiana, is near the southern end of the state near the borders of Kentucky and Illinois. The town is surrounded on three sides by the Hoosier National Forest where you can enjoy plenty of outdoor recreation and find several campgrounds. Other outdoor fun can be found at Springs Valley Lake and Patoka Lake. If you want to check out some different types of attractions in the area, you could try the Big Splash Water Park or French Lick Springs Casino.

The Purse Lady/Crazyhorse Ranch and Lodge

The Purse Lady/Crazyhorse Ranch and Lodge is located northeast of French Lick in West Baden Springs, Indiana. On-site amenities of the ranch include a restaurant, shop, picnic area and Wi-Fi service. Recreation can be found in the form of hiking and horse trails, horseshoes and a river with fishing and canoeing possibilities. For your comfort there are also bathhouses and restrooms. Sites come with water and electrical connections.

The Mane Trails

The Mane Trails is situated southeast of French Lick, Indiana, in South Paoli. Campsites are available for those traveling with or without horses. Stalls with bedding are offered for those with horses. Sites come with water and electricity. Those staying at the campground are free to use the showers and restrooms as well as the indoor riding area. Access to horse, bike and foot trails are located on site.

West Boggs Park

West Boggs Park is west of French Lick in Montgomery, Indiana. On-site recreation includes picnicking, hiking trails, fishing and planned activities. The campground sells fishing supplies as well as a limited number of other needs. Sites come with full or partial hookups and picnic tables. Dumpsters are available for trash disposal.
