Cedartown, Georgia, is on the western side of the state near the Talladega National Forest across the border in Alabama, as well as Chattahoochee National Forest to the north. RV parks and campgrounds are in the area, so you don't have to stay far from your destination. Other interests close by include wineries, the Etowah Indian Mounds Historic Site and Euharlee Covered Bridge & Museum.

Cedar Creek RV & Driving Range is to the north of Cedartown in Cave Springs. On-site recreation at the campground includes a driving range, fishing, kayaking and inner tubing in Big Cedar Creek. Tube and boat rentals are available at the campground. There are several other benefits, such as Wi-Fi, laundry facilities, showers and picnic areas. Sites come with full hookups. Tent sites are also available.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park is south of Cedartown in Bremen, Georgia. The park has many recreational opportunities, such as planned activities, a playground, outdoor pool and miniature golf. The park has several amenities, including a camp store, showers, restrooms and fitness room. Both RV and tent sites are available. RV sites come with full hookups, electrical connections up to 50 amps and cable TV.

Sweetwater Valley Park

Sweetwater Valley Park is in Villa Rica, southeast of Cedartown. On-site activities include playing on the playground, games such as volleyball and basketball, nature trails and a driving range. Park features include bath houses, restrooms, a laundry room and a kitchen. Sites come with water and electrical connections up to 50 amps. Tent camping is also allowed for short terms of less than a week.
