Clear Springs, Wright-Patman Dam
The campground at the Wright-Patman Dam is owned by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service.
There are 87 RV-type sites; 66 have full hookups and 30-amp connections, and 21 sites have 50-amp connections. There are 15 sites for pop-ups with no connections. These sites have partial shade, but six of them not in the above number, have electricity, water and full shade. There are five more sites with full hookups that are handicapped accessible.
Facilities include restrooms, showers, flush toilets, swimming and boat ramps. Hunting and fishing are allowed at the lake.

Rocky Point
Rocky Point Campground is another Army Corps of Engineers campground on the Wright-Patman lake in northeast Texas. The campground has 54 sites with 30-amp electric connections, along with water, and 27 sites that are larger and have 50-amp connections with water. There are 42 sites that have electricity and are designed for small campers and pop-ups.
Rocky Point is the most developed site and offers a complete range of services to campers such as propane and other supplies.
There are showers, restrooms, swimming, interpretive trails and boat ramps.
This campground is off U.S. Highway 59, north of the dam.

Piney Point
The Piney Point campground has 44 campsites with 15-amp connections and water. These sites are geared toward small campers and pop-ups, though a small RV would work there. There are four handicapped accessible sites.
Piney Point is off U.S. Highway 59 and is south of the Wright Patman Dam.
This campground is open from March 1 through December 1, and the park offers a full range of services for campers. There are showers and restrooms, as well as a boat ramp and courts for basketball and volleyball. There are also several hiking trails in the area.
