Roseburg, Oregon, is a mid-sized community near Umpqua National Forest. Coos Bay and the Oregon Coast are within a 1-1/2 hour drive from the Roseburg region. Between Umpqua National Forest and the coast, visitors can sea kayak, hike, mountain bike, scuba dive, swim and surf. Bird-watchers can try spotting the rare marbled murrelet along the Oregon Coast or look for bald eagles and osprey in the mountains and forest. RV travelers to Roseburg have several options for parks and campgrounds around the city.

Seven Feathers RV Resort

The Seven Feathers RV Resort is on the outskirts of Roseburg and offers sites for most RV sizes. Site hookups include 20-, 30-, or 50-amp electric, water, sewer, cable TV and Wi-Fi. Pets are welcome. There is a media center with books and DVDs, a coin-operated laundry, hot showers and bathrooms, game rooms and a fitness center on the property. In the nearby Umpqua National Forest, guests can hike, mountain bike and backpack. Rock climbing and bouldering can be found in the Umpqua. Sea kayakers can drive to the coast and enjoy the rocky shoreline of the Oregon shores.

Twin Rivers RV Park

Twin Rivers RV Park is a small and family-run RV campground. Anglers can fish for steelhead and salmon along the river banks from the campground. There is canoeing and kayaking to be had from the RV park. RVs of most sizes can be accommodated. Guests staying at the park can use the hot showers, bathrooms, barbecue facilities, guest house, dump station and laundry room. Site hookups include the standard water, sewer, cable TV and 30- or 50-amp electric. Pets are allowed if leashed. The Umpqua River offers river rafting.

Umpqua Safari RV Park

The Umpqua Safari RV Park is within 30 minutes of Roseburg in the neighboring town of Winston. The location is close to Umpqua National Forest and the Umpqua River. Guests staying at the RV park can hike, mountain bike, river raft, fish and rock climb in the national forest. The RV park offers hookups of water, sewer, cable TV, free Wi-Fi and 30- or 50-amp electric. Pets are allowed. Barbecue grills and fire rings are at RV sites. Hot showers, bathrooms and a guest house are available for guest use. Crater and Diamond Lakes are within a two-hour drive. Visitors to the lakes can enjoy fishing, canoeing and kayaking.
