Mount Sterling is a small community in northern Kentucky, located less than two hours east of Louisville. The city has many sites and buildings that are on state and national historic registers, such as Machpelah Cemetery and Gaitskill Indian Mound. A major attraction of the city is the annual Court Day celebration, which is a four-day festival where visitors can trade, buy and sell various goods and antiques. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy many recreational activities at one of Mt. Sterling's parks, or less than a half-hour away at the Cumberland Plateau Mountains.

Fairfield Inn

Located about four miles from Mt. Sterling's historic downtown district, the Fairfield Inn hotel offers 61 guest rooms in a three-story building.
