Located on the eastern side of Washington, Spokane is the second largest city in the state. Situated right on the Spokane River, Spokane has many outdoor recreation possibilities. Hikers enjoy sections of the Spokane River Centennial Trail, which travels from the Idaho-Washington border to Nine Mile Falls, north of Spokane. Skiers and snowboarders enjoy the Mt. Spokane Ski and Snowboard Park 28 miles south of the city. Kayakers and canoeists enjoy flat water and whitewater on the Spokane River. Spokane has several RV parks for visitors.

Spokane KOA

Spokane KOA has 150 sites with a maximum pull-through length of 75 feet. Full hookups, with 50-amp electric, water, sewer, cable TV and telephone, are available, and free Wi-Fi is provided. The KOA has a swimming pool that is open from May 23-Sept. 14, rents bicycles to guests and has a playground on site. Laundry facilities, showers and bathrooms are available. Pets are welcome, and there is a dog-walk area. The KOA is open year-round.

Park Lane Motel and RV Park

Park Lane Motel and RV Park is a small park with 19 back-in sites behind an old motel. The sites can accommodate rigs up to 40 feet in length. Full hookups, including 30-amp electric, water, sewer, cable TV and free local phone calls, are provided at each site. Some sites also have 50-amp electric connections. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the park. Pets are allowed at the facility. Laundry, bathrooms and showers are available. The Park is open year-round.

Alderwood RV Resort

Alderwood RV Resort is located on the northern edge of Spokane and has 108 sites with 57 having pull-through access for rigs up to 70 feet. Full hookups, with 30- and 50-amp electric, water, sewer, cable TV and phone, are available. Free Wi-Fi is provided throughout the grounds. A propane and dump station are on site. Guests can shop at an on-site mini-mart. Laundry, bathrooms and showers are available. The on-site clubhouse has a swimming pool. Pets are welcome. Alderwood is open year-round.
