Sebeka, Minnesota, is a small town in the central region of the state. With the Redeye River flowing through its center and Sebeka's proximity to several state forests and the Crow Wing River, the area offers many opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts. Hiking and biking trails, fishing, boating and opportunities to enjoy nature are nearby. Campers will not be disappointed in the area's wooded and secluded campsites.

Shell City Landing Campground

Shell City Landing Campground is approximately 13 miles north of Sebeka in the town of Menahga. Located within the Huntersville State Forest and managed by Itasca State Park, the campground offers 19 primitive campsites that are private and heavily wooded. Each site comes with a fire ring and picnic table. Campers have a well and vault toilets. Located on the Shell River, which joins the Crow Wing River, the area offers opportunities for swimming, fishing and boating, canoeing and viewing wildlife. The campground has water access and is on a first-come, first-served basis. The campground is open May through October, with pets accepted.

Crow Wing River Campground

Located on 15 acres on the Crow Wing River in Sebeka is the Crow Wing River Campground. The privately owned campground offers 15 campsites, with 10 for tent campers only. Campers have large, wooded sites that offer electricity and water. The campground has restrooms and showers, and pets are accepted. Boaters and anglers will appreciate the campground's boat launch, as well as the canoe and kayak rentals for exploring the river. The campground also has an on-site outfitter for those wanting to canoe and camp overnight on the 75-mile stretch of the Crow Wing River Canoe Route. Primitive campsites are on the riverbanks along the canoe route.

Huntersville Forest Campground

The Huntersville Forest Campground is in the Huntersville State Forest in Menahga. The campground, managed by Itasca State Park about 15 miles north, offers a heavily forested area for campers. There are 24 campsites, with seven set aside for tent campers only. Camping is primitive, with sites offering a fire ring and picnic table. The campground has vault toilets and a well, and is on a first-come, first-served basis. Located on the Crow Wing River, the area offers opportunities for canoeing, kayaking, swimming and fishing. About 150 miles of logging roads throughout the area are used for trails.
