Hotels Near the Florida Everglades

The Everglades National Park is a marshy nature preserve in southern Florida known for its wildlife, especially alligators. The two closest towns to the park's east entrance are Homestead and Florida City, each about six miles away, and both municipalities are home to a number of hotels. These towns are also located about 30 miles south of Miami and 15 miles north of the Florida Keys, making the Homestead and Florida City area a central location for a number of outdoor and other tourist activities. Shopping, restaurants and more can also be found within the two towns.
