Badlands Ranch Resort and Trail
Located on the perimeter of South Dakota's Badlands National Park, the Badlands Ranch Resort and Trail offers seven cabins with satellite television, microwave ovens, refrigerators, linens, maid service, cooking utensils, heat and air-conditioning and full bathrooms. Cabins offer the option of a full kitchen with two bedrooms and five beds (queen, full, twin and bunk beds); two rooms and three beds (full and bunk beds); one room and four beds (double, twin and bunk beds); one room and two beds (full and twin), and one room with one king-sized bed. Other facilities include a bed and breakfast, motel units, RV hookups, campsites and group accommodations. Camp extras include horseback trail rides, fishing in two stocked ponds, a swimming pool and playground, and great views of the South Dakota Badlands National Park.

Cedar Pass Lodge Cabins
Located in the Badlands National Park near the Buffalo Gap National Grassland, the Cedar Pass Lodge has been open for business since 1928, which predates the park. Cabins are only offered with the essentials: heat and air-conditioning, bathroom and coffee pot. Cabins are available as single-bedroom cabins, two-bedroom adjoining cabins with connecting baths, and cottage formats. Dining is available at the Cedar Pass Restaurant. The lodge and cabins are open from April 17 to Oct. 16.

Frontier Cabins
Six miles from the entrance of the Badlands National Park, Frontier Cabins provides 33 non-smoking cabins that are equipped with refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, heat and air conditioning, linens and towels, ceiling fans, cable television with DVD player and free wireless Internet. Four styles of cabins are offered. A free continental breakfast is offered with cabin rental, children younger than 12 stay free, and a picnic area, guest laundry facility and gift shop are located on site.
