Naperville, Illinois is a Chicago suburb known for its pleasant atmosphere and great restaurants. It is home to a few of the Chicago area's greatest Spanish restaurants, serving traditional Spanish tapas. The word "tapas" means "small Spanish meal". Naperville Spanish restaurants each offer unique ambiance and are popular among the locals and tourists alike. Whether you live in the area, are traveling on business or pleasure, Spanish restaurants in Naperville are worth checking out.

Macarena Tapas

Macarena Tapas is a small family-owned restaurant right off a main roadway in Naperville. You can get a traditional Spanish meal including oven-baked goat cheese with tomato sauce, blackened salmon with orange yogurt sauce, and Spanish pork sausage for a moderate price. The restaurant has a bar and the scene is dim and romantic. Macarena Tapas serves lunch and dinner Tuesday to Saturday, but only dinner is served on Sundays. The restaurant is closed on Mondays.

Tango Argentinean Grill

Tango serves Spanish tapas such as crabmeat béchamel, asparagus con dos camisas and medialunas de centolla, as well as Argentinean grilled steaks and Italian pasta. The environment is casual and the prices are moderate. Tango has a lunch, dinner and tapas menu. You can also order from the "All You Can Eat Tapas Menu" Monday to Thursday when offered. The hours are Monday to Thursday 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday, 11:30 a.m. to 1 a.m, Sunday brunch 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and Sunday dinner 2:30 to 10 p.m. Reservations are not required but are encouraged.

Meson Sabika

Meson Sabika is known for its setting in a fancy mansion. It has a balcony available for dining and serves traditional Spanish meals such as Patatas Con Aioli, Valenciana and Crepe Rellana. You can find moderately priced meals here. Reservations are encouraged, especially on weekends. Meson Sabika has a full bar, private rooms and a large wine selection. You can park in the private lot on location. Live music is performed on Friday evenings. You can dine Monday to Friday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday from 5 to 11 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
