The New Jersey coast offers amazing beaches and boardwalks. Some of the best beach and boardwalk combinations reside in South Jersey. The "Shore," as visitors call it, attracts tourists from all over the world. South Jersey beaches and boardwalks offer great surfing, fishing and jogging combined with family fun during the day and great entertainment and gaming at night.

Ocean City, New Jersey

The city of Ocean City New, Jersey calls itself "America's Greatest Family Resort" and it lives up to that claim. With a beautifully clean beach and a boardwalk that offers two amusement piers, numerous restaurants, custard stands and of course pizza joints, Ocean City stands as one of New Jersey's most visited resort towns. Since the 1920's Ocean City has been the summer playground for many residents from New York, Philadelphia and North Jersey. Visitors to Ocean City escape the hustle and bustle found in Atlantic City and find themselves in a peaceful, fun-filled atmosphere.

Wildwood, New Jersey

Wildwood, New Jersey has the best boardwalk and beach in New Jersey. The Travel Channel has featured the city on its "Best of" program and it has won numerous "Best of" awards from the press and magazines. Wildwood's boardwalk offers more rides than Disneyland and features summer beach activities all summer long--from kite competitions to drag racing on the beach to marble competitions. The boardwalk offers miniature golf, world-class roller coasters, bumper car rides, lemonade stands, custard stands, pizza stands, seafood restaurants and tons of souvenir shops, and don't forget the world famous Fralinger's Original Salt Water Taffy.

Atlantic City, New Jersey

Atlantic City, New Jersey is the playground of the Jersey Shore. Some of the best casino gaming houses in the world call the Atlantic City boardwalk home. The seven-mile long island has great beaches perfectly suited for sunbathing, family fun and swimming in the cool waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Along the boardwalk visitors find tons of shopping whether in a local souvenir shop or any number of designer boutiques. During the day the beaches fill with out-of-towners and locals alike trying to catch some rays or surf along the shore. At night the boardwalk comes alive with music and dancing while lovers stroll arm-in-arm or take a carriage ride along the boardwalk. Stop into any of the strips hotel casinos for world-class dining at any number of upscale restaurants or enjoy an all-you-can-eat meal at the various buffets. Atlantic City truly has something for most any traveler.
