Riverside Cabins & RV Park
The Riverside Cabins and RV Park offers log cabin rentals in the form of river cabins or the mountain cabin. The river cabins feature separate sleeping areas and a fully stocked kitchen; the upscale mountain cabin features a fireplace, satellite television and hot tub. All RV and tent sites come with full hookups and wireless Internet access for an additional fee. The RV park provides restrooms and showers for campers. A miniature golf course with nine holes is open for guests, as is a swimming pool and playground for kids. The campground has its own walking trail and gives guests access to fishing on the Potomac River. The Dolly Sods Scenic Area is nearby and offers visitors the chance to view wildlife and hike. Blackwater Falls, which provides hiking and camping, and Spruce Knob are within 30 miles. Spruce Knob has trout fishing, hiking trails and horseback riding available.

Creekside Campground
The Creekside Campground is located in the Shenandoah Valley, putting it close to river activities, like whitewater rafting, and woodland options, like ATV and hiking trails. The campground, which allows pets, has a number of gravel RV sites with water, electric and cable television. Sites are available for tents, and both tent and RV creekside sites are available. Guests have access to picnic tables, horseshoe pits, fire rings and a pavilion. Creekside Campgrounds is a little more than an hour from Moorefield.

Battle of Cedar Creek Campground
The Battle of Cedar Creek Campground sits near the Civil War battlefield and about an hour from Moorefield. The campground allows canoeing and tubing in the river, but requires that you bring your own equipment or rent equipment in town. Restrooms, showers and a laundry room are available for guests. The RV park also offers a playground, swimming pool, horseshoe pits, shuffleboard court and a miniature golf course. The campground is open throughout the year and tent sites are available for those who want to camp, but don't own an RV.
