Queen City is in the corner of Texas where Arkansas and Louisiana meet the state border. Texarkana is immediately to the north of the town, along with-Lake Wright Patman, the center for recreation in the area. Visitors will find camping available in the parks that ring the lake and in distinctive small campgrounds that offer amenities from music festivals to water access.

Atlanta State Park

Atlanta State Park is eight miles northwest of Queen City. The park supplies pull-through and back-in sites with full or partial hookups. Tent sites come with a tent pad and picnic table. The park provides a dump station for RV travelers, restrooms and showers. Basketball and volleyball courts are some of the outdoor games offered, and the grounds contain almost four miles of hiking trails and a short nature trail. Wright Patman Lake allows water skiing, and launch ramps in the park give access to the water. Swim on a sandy beach or rent a canoe from the staff. Mountain bikers will love the hilly terrain that surrounds the water.
