Beach Campgrounds Near Holly Hills, Florida

Holly Hills, Florida, is a suburb of Tallahassee and there are beach campgrounds about 30 miles away. The Apalachicola National Wildlife refuge is nearby, which has trails and small lakes to explore.
Campgrounds on the beach are generally geared toward RVs, but many can accommodate tent and pop-up camping.
The beaches offer trails with bird- and wildlife-watching, sea-shell collecting and fishing.

Holiday Campground

The Holiday Campground is on Ochlockonee Bay and has several campsites on the ocean. Across the bay is the Bald Point State Park that has trails along the beach and in the wooded areas.
Holiday Campground has 75 RV sites with 30- and 50-amp connections. There are also water and sewer connections. The campsites have cable TVv and Wi-Fi available. Tent and pop-up camping also are available.
Historic fort San Marco de Apalach is nearby, as well as fresh seafood markets. Fishing excursions also are available, either saltwater or freshwater. There also are miles of beach to explore. The St. Marks Bicycle Trail begins here and goes all the way to Tallahassee.

Ho-Hum RV Park

The Ho-Hum RV Park has 33 RV sites, and most of them are on the beach. The campground has full hookups with 30- and 50-amp connections. This campground offers free cable TV and free Wi-Fi.
A recreation hall is available on the grounds for groups, clubs and dinners. There is a 24-hour laundry available. The site is adult-oriented, and there are limited activities for children.
Saltwater fishing is available, though you must have a Florida license.

Carrabelle Beach

Carrabelle Beach has 79 concrete sites with full hookups that include 50-amp connections along with water and sewer. There is free cable TV and free Wi-Fi available.
The park has concierge service, a swimming pool and a dog-walking area. Pets are allowed but must be kept on a leash. Carrabelle has a convenience store.
This campground also has four two-bedroom cabins and four duplex cabins that have fully stocked kitchens, TVs and beds with linens.
Carrabelle Beach is close to Apalachicola National Forest and Tate's Hell State Forest. Both of these areas have many walking trails and beach access areas that are great for bird-watching and wildlife-watching.
