Bardstown is in the northern area of the state of Kentucky, with RV parks located nearby offering a variety of amenities. Interests in the area include Hoosier National Park and Daniel Boone National Forest. Outdoor recreation opportunities such as hiking, fishing, camping and biking are found in these locations and others. Another interesting attraction you might want to check out is Fort Knox, where you can tour the Patton Museum of Cavalry and Armor and look at the outside of the bullion depository. The museum showcases historical artifacts of the U.S. Cavalry and General Patton.

White Acres Campground & Gifts is located in Bardstown and is full of recreational activities. On the campground property there is a playground for the kids, events area, dump station, restrooms, bathhouse and propane service. Other features include an antique shop, cabins, free Wi-Fi and picnic sites. Tent and RV sites are available. They come with water and electrical connections up to 100 amps. Nearby are many more attractions such as horse races, golf courses and Daniel Boone National Forest.

Elizabethtown Crossroads Campground

Elizabethtown Crossroads Campground is near to Churchill Downs and just northwest of Bardstown, Kentucky. Churchill Downs is home to the Kentucky Derby as well as many other horse races throughout the year.

On-site amenities of the campground include a rec room, game room, pet area, bathhouses, restrooms, planned activities, camp store and laundry. There is also a pool, playground, fields and picnic area. Both tent and RV sites are available. RV sites come with full or partial hookups and electrical connections up to 50 amps. The campground offers some pull-through sites.

Grandma's RV Park

Grandma's RV Park, located in Shepherdsville, Kentucky, is a short drive from such interesting places as the Kentucky Derby Museum, which is located at the front of Churchill Downs race track. The museum features artifacts, photos and other memorabilia from Derbys past.

The RV park is northwest of Bardstown. Features such as free Wi-Fi and a laundry facility are on site for your convenience. RV sites include full hookups.
