The small city of White Settlement is surrounded by the metropolitan area of Fort Worth, Texas. It came by its name in the 1800s, when the U.S. Army established a post called Fort Worth on the Trinity River to protect white settlers moving into the area. Camps grew up outside the fort, some for the area's native residents and one for the newcomers. Visitors who stay in campgrounds in and around White Settlement, Texas, can enjoy the area's rich history, including Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District.

Settlers Haven RV and Trailer Park offers family campers a rural setting in the city. The park is open year-round. It provides sites with full hookups, and some have 50-amp electrical service; tent sites are also available. Guests are invited to watch cable TV and access the internet with Wi-Fi. A courtesy patrol is on the grounds 24 hours per day. The park also welcomes pets.

Sunset RV Park

Sunset RV Park offers drive-in or back-in sites (no pull-throughs) with full hookups, including 30- and 50-amp electric service. Guests can watch cable TV and hook up to high-speed Internet (no Wi-Fi available at this location). Located near Trinity River Trails park, guests can take advantage of the park's miles of hiking and biking trails. The park is open year-round.

Fort Worth Midtown RV Park

Fort Worth Midtown RV Park is a small park that offers campers a shady, quiet spot in the city to make camp. The park provides sites with full hookups, including 50-amp electrical service, and some sites are pull-throughs. Guests are welcome to access the internet with free Wi-Fi and to enjoy cable TV. Visitors and birds alike enjoy tree-lined streets, making this a nice setting for bird-watchers. Pets are welcome.

Lake Worth RV Ranch

Lake Worth RV Ranch is located approximately 10 miles north and west of White Settlement. The sites include full hookups, and the park offers free Wi-Fi Internet access and laundry facilities. Pets are welcome and need to be on a leash--unless they're playing in the leash-free area. Drive south a couple of miles and be surrounded by shopping and dining in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Stay in the area to enjoy hiking, swimming and fishing.
