This SCUBA diving center has three locations in Tampa, Dunedin and Clearwater. Mac's Sports features an in-store year round heated pool used for training and introductory SCUBA lessons and is open Monday through Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Mac's entry level SCUBA certification courses are designed to give you the basic skills you'll need to become a responsible and competent diver. The course combines academic sessions, pool sessions and open-water fun dives where you can test out your newly acquired SCUBA skills. Both individual and group courses are available starting at $199 for the basic introductory level class.

Mike's Private SCUBA Lessons

Certified dive instructor Mike Miller allows for tremendous flexibility for those learning to SCUBA dive by catering to students' schedules. Mike teaches private lessons for groups and individuals who want to get PADI certified during their stay in Clearwater and the greater Tampa Bay area. Adults and children ages 10 and up are invited to discover the joy of SCUBA diving and learn how to do it safely. Mike SCUBA instruction also includes Open Water Diver, Advanced Open Water Diver, Rescue Diver, Nitrox/Enriched Air Diver and Dive Master. Introductory courses start at $495.

Diving Clearwater

Diving Clearwater selects dive sites that are not regulated by weather, which means you'll never have a dive or lessons cancelled due to poor conditions. These sights also feature average visibility of 200 feet and diverse marine life. All of Diving Clearwater's guides are fully certified and have over 10 years of experience. PADI Open Water certification classes are generally small and cater to individuals' needs. Diving Clearwater also offers guided snorkeling and swimming with manatee sessions.
