Located just 15 miles west of Tampa is the small suburb of Dover, Florida. Its convenient location allows visitors access to numerous attractions, like Lake Thonotosassa to the north, downtown Tampa and the Gulf of Mexico, and Lettuce Lake Regional Park, where you'll find biking and jogging trails, picnic areas and a nature center. There are several campgrounds in and around Dover that make it a great base for exploring the region.

Lazydays RV Center

Just west of Dover, right off Interstate 4, is the Lazydays RV Center. This campground has 300 sites with full hookups that include water, sewer and 50-amp electric service. Free cable television is included in your stay, and you'll find free wireless Internet access throughout the park. There are many amenities included in a stay at Lazydays, such as the complimentary breakfast and lunch served Monday through Saturday to all of the RV center's guests. There is also a screened and heated pool and Jacuzzi, and plenty of games to keep you active, such as horseshoe pits, tennis courts and even pickleball, which is sort of a miniature version of tennis. On site you'll also find a Flying J travel center, Cracker Barrel and a Camping World store for any supplies you may need.
