The state of Sonora, in northwestern Mexico, shares a northern border with Arizona in the United States, and it shares a western border with the Sea of Cortez. Campers can find RV parks in the larger towns on Mexico Interstate 15; coastal towns, however, offer campers a chance to play on the beach. Travelers who venture away from the border will find lovely, uncrowded towns and very nice RV Parks in Sonora.

Kino Bay RV Park

Kino Bay RV Park sits directly on the beach on the main street in Kino Bay. The 200 sites offer full hookups with 30-amp electric (and some 50-amp), and guests are welcome to stay any time of year. Campers can use the on-site laundry room, and those who don't want to haul their camper home can leave it in storage at the park.
