Stonechase Street is a partial neighborhood between Sanford, Florida and Altamonte Springs. The region is part of the greater Orlando Metropolitan area, home to Mickey Mouse and Disney World. There are many opportunities for outdoor recreation, as well as the many theme and amusement parks of the area. Wekiwa Springs State Park and Lake Jesup Conservation Area are within a 30-minute drive from the Stonechase area. RV travelers can find RV parks and campgrounds in the surrounding communities.

Twelve Oaks is conveniently located near both Lake Jesup and Wekiwa State Park. Guests can find hiking trails at either place, along with options for mountain biking, canoeing, kayaking and fishing. Twelve Oaks offers RV sites for most sizes of rigs. Site hookups include 30- or 50-amp electric, water, and sewer. Guests can use the showers, bathrooms, laundry facility, dump station and guest house. Ocean activities can be found at nearby Cocoa Beach and Daytona. Town and Country RV Resort

The Town and Country RV Resort is in Sanford, a 15-minute drive from Stonechase Street. Guests at Town and Country can use the swimming pool, shuffleboard courts, horseshoe pits and pool tables. There are bathrooms and showers, laundry room and a dump station. RV sites have 30- or 50-amp electric, water and sewer connections. Pets are allowed if leashed. Daytona Beach is within 45 minutes. There is surfing, fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving and bird-watching at both Daytona, and the nearby Cocoa Beach.

Wekiva Falls Resort

Wekiva Falls Resort is a large RV resort capable of handling RVs of most sizes. The resort is pet-friendly and there are leash-free parks where four-legged visitors can romp and play. Sites come with sewer, water, cable TV, Wi-Fi, and 30- or 50-amp electric. Guests can canoe the Wekiva River from the campground. There is a spring-fed lagoon on the property where guests can swim. There are hot showers, private toilets, and a laundry on the premises. The Wekiwa State park is within a 30-minute drive. The park has hiking trails and opportunities for bird-watching.
