Thinking about Oxford, England, the first thing that comes to mind is famed Oxford University, but the city has been established since the ninth century. Mixing modern and ancient societies, this bustling city has more to offer than royals and scholars. Outdoor activities such as football (soccer), badminton, cricket, water sports, golf and a host of hiking and biking trails are offered in Oxford.
