Lake Lanier Island Resort
Lake Lanier Island Resort has a location next to the lake of the same name. Guests can fish, canoe, kayak and swim from the campgrounds. RV of most sizes can be accommodated. There are barbecue grills and stations, picnic tables, a boat launch and ramps, a fish-cleaning station, showers and bathrooms for guests to use. Boat rentals are available. Pets are welcome if leashed. RV sites have 30- or 50-amp electric, water and sewer connections. Restaurants, lounges and cafes are on the resort premises, making for an all-inclusive place to base camp.

Guests staying at the Twin Lakes RV Park can stay at RV sites on the water and enjoy fishing, swimming, canoeing and kayaking from the campground. Bird-watchers can try their luck at spotting the myriad species of native and migratory species that frequent the region. RVs of most sizes can be accommodated. There are hot showers to wash off in after a day of playing and exploring. Private toilets, barbecue grills, picnic tables and a dump station are on the property for guests to use. Jones RV Park
Jones RV Park is a smaller, family run RV park close to Atlanta. Those seeking more urban adventures can enjoy a convenient location to the metropolis. In addition to the standard RV hookups (30- and 50-amp electric, water, sewer) there are bathrooms, showers, laundry facilities and a dump station for guest use. Pets are allowed. The Olympic Park in Atlanta provides a learning tour of the sports and games of the Olympics and is within a 30-minute drive from Jones RV Park. Stone Mountain is within an hour's drive. Visitors to Stone Mountain can hike, mountain bike and find bouldering problems.
