The Great Smoky Mountain National Park is everything it is said to be, whether on the North Carolina or Tennessee side. There are mountains with trails all over, especially the Appalachian Trail. There are lakes, rivers and streams that offer fishing, canoeing and whitewater rafting. There are many cabins for rent. Many are privately owned and managed by a real estate company or other operation. Many are also pet-friendly but often require a pet deposit.

The Brookside

The Brookside is one of several cabins owned by Smoky Mountain Retreats in Maggie Valley, N.C., on the edge of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. This cabin allows small pets with a non-refundable deposit.

This cabin is nestled in the quiet of the mountains with awe-inspiring views. It has two bedrooms as well as a loft and sleeps four people. The cabin comes with a wood burning fireplace, washer/dryer, TV, Satellite, wireless Internet, Jacuzzi, heat and air-conditioning, access to playground and a pond and a charcoal grill.

Hidden Creek Cabins are near Bryson City, North Carolina, and are close to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. There are several cabins on the site that allow pets, with a non-refundable pet deposit, and there is a limit of two animals.
