Occupying 1,200 acres less than 13 miles from Collegedale, Harrison Bay State Park offers approximately 40 miles of Chickamauga Lake shoreline and provides ample boating, fishing and swimming opportunities. The park also has hiking and biking trails, seasonal swimming pool, basketball and tennis courts, as well as softball and volleyball fields. The campground at Harrison Bay State Park has 128 RV campsites equipped with water and electrical hookups, and 21 primitive tent sites. Campground amenities include bathhouses, dump station, playground and picnic facilities with grills.

Raccoon Mountain RV Park and Campground

Situated at the base of Raccoon Mountain, approximately 25 miles away from Collegedale, Raccoon Mountain RV Park and Campground offers its campers a convenient base to explore the area's attractions, as well as panoramic views of both Raccoon and Lookout Mountains. Raccoon Mountain Caverns consist of over 5 1/2 miles of underground passageways. The Raccoon Mountain Campground offers RV and tent camping sites. Amenities include a bathhouse, laundry facility, seasonal outdoor swimming pool, playground, dump station, basketball court, game room and free wireless Internet access. The park also features hiking trails with a swinging bridge.
