Cabins & Chalets near Lookout Mountain, Tennessee

The area around Lookout Mountain, Tennessee, possesses rental cabins and chalets capable of providing a romantic couples weekend just as easily as playing host to a group gathering of all sizes. Most of the cabins and chalets are privately owned, and many offer luxurious appointments. All of the cabins offer a good jumping off point to explore the Chattanooga area as well as Lookout Mountain's attractions: Ruby Falls, Rock City and the Incline Railway.

Trav-L-Park

Trav-L-Park is an RV park located about 20 minutes east of Lookout Mountain that provides three types of cabins. The smallest comes only with beds, electricity and a refrigerator. The next highest levels are larger and have heat and air conditioning and a fully stocked kitchen. The cabins come with cable television and free Wi-Fi.

Lodge on the Ridge

The Lodge on the Ridge is one of three area properties forming this family operation. The Lodge, a three-bedroom property, is for larger families or groups. The other two properties have one bedroom and are targeted at couples.

All three properties are appointed with modern luxuries such as a gas fireplace, wireless Internet, washer and dryer, hardwood floors and large-screen televisions. The kitchens are fully stocked.

Raccoon Mountain

Raccoon Mountain is about 15 minutes west of Lookout Mountain. Though smaller than its more famous mountain, visitors staying here can take advantage of Raccoon Mountain's caves and they can pan for gems.
Four cabins are offered. Three of the four have indoor plumbing, including hot showers; the fourth has no indoor plumbing but is close to the climate-controlled bathhouse. All cabins have electricity. Some have televisions, and all have Wi-Fi. The cabins have microwave ovens refrigerators and cooking utensils.
