The United Kingdom is home to miles of countryside and coastline, affording visitors a variety of outdoor activities. England and Wales have 14 national trails that give hikers and cyclists around 2,500 miles of path to explore. Scotland has four similar trails known as long distance routes. After a day on one of the region's trails, visitors can relax at a hotel run by one of the many chains in the UK.

Britannia Hotels

Britannia Hotels was founded in 1976 and now has 35 hotels across the UK, offering a total of 7,000 rooms.
