Located just north of Sacramento in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Roseville, California was founded by disappointed prospectors after the Gold Rush and has grown into a thriving city. Roseville values its open spaces, so there are plenty of parks, trails and recreational activities throughout the town. The hot, dry summers and mild winters make Roseville a great destination for year-round camping. If you're considering relocating to the area long-term in your motor home, there are several RV campgrounds from which to choose.
