Chandler, Arizona, is a southern suburb of Phoenix and is in an area that is well-known for its large number of RV parks. That is especially the case for neighboring Mesa, Arizona and its "Golden Corridor." While the Chandler area offers good access to hiking and bird watching in the Arizona deserts, many of the RV parks are for seniors only, which poses a problem for younger RV campers.

Mesa Verde RV Park

Located in Chandler, this RV park offers more than 70 sites with full hookups. Most electrical hookups operate at 30 amps, but some sites have 50 amp electricity. Wooded campsites are available, and all of the RV sites are equipped with picnic tables, barbecue grills and fire pits. The park also offers rental cabins. The RV park's facilities include two playgrounds, a miniature golf course, a swimming pool, a hot tub, showers, a coin laundry, a camp store, a recreation room, and a group campfire area with gazebo. Mesa Verde's location is just a few miles east of Phoenix South Mountain Park.
