Birch Bay is a small town on Washington State's Pacific coast, and just south of the border between the United States and Canada. The surrounding area has plenty of opportunities for those interested in fishing, swimming, sea kayaking, beachcombing, and boating in either Birch Bay, Dayton Harbor to the north or Lummi Bay to the south. There are also Lake Terrell State Game Refuge and Tenwent Lake Sate Wildlife Recreation Area to the southeast for wildlife viewing. In addition, Interstate 5 provides easy access for sightseeing day trips across the Canadian border.

Lighthouse by the Bay RV Resort

The Lighthouse by the Bay RV Resort is located in the town of Blaine. The resort campground has 100 sites with full hookup services that can handle a recreational vehicle that is up to 40 feet long. Other amenities include picnic tables and fire rings, shower facilities, a laundry facility, free Wi-Fi Internet access on site, a nature trail which leads to a public beach and a recreation room. Lighthouse by the Bay also provides security surveillance of its property, and has mail service for its visitors.

Birch Bay Resort

Just north of Lighthouse by the Bay is the Birch Bay Resort. The resort is a combination of trailers, park models, mobile homes, and has campsite spaces that have electrical service and water. In addition, there are laundry and shower facilities, a private clubhouse, cable television, an enclosed pavilion, and it is pet friendly. A private path takes visitors to the Birch Bay beach. The resort also sells park trailers, and during the summer months, Birch Bay Resort operates a water park closeby.

Birch Bay State Park

South of Birch Bay along the shore is Birch Bay State Park. Operated by the Washington State Parks service, the park has 167 campsite spaces, with the largest sites being 60 feet long. A dump station is available on-site, as well as shower and restroom facilities, which are both handicap-accessible. An additional group campsite in the park can accommodate groups of up to 40 people. Visitors can enjoy swimming, boating in the bay, as well as walking along the beach. Birch Bay Park also has an amphitheater, basketball court and fire rings.
