Nisku, Alberta, is a small community and industrial park outside of Edmonton. Visitors to the region can enjoy hiking and wildlife observation opportunities at Elk Island National Park to the east of the city. The Hayburger Trail and Beaver Pond Trail within the park gives hikers chances at seeing elk, moose, bear and the Canadian national animal, the beaver. RV travelers to the Nisku area can find parks and campgrounds in the Edmonton region and surrounding areas.

Lindbrook Star Gazer Campground and RV Park can accommodate most RV sizes. There are 30- and 50-amp electric, water, and sewer connections available at most sites. There are showers, private toilets, a heated swimming pool, dump station and picnicking facilities on the premises for guest use. Elk Island National Park is within 45 minutes from Lindbrook. Mountain bikers can find trails around the campground, and hikers can walk the nature trails and small walks of the campground.

Shaker's Acres RV Park

Shaker's Acres has a central location to many outdoor activities and attractions of the area. Hikers can head to the Edmonton Corn Maze and try finding their way through the corn-field maze. The nearby Elk Island National Park has lakes and streams for fly-fishing, canoeing and kayaking. Shaker's Acres has sites for most RV sizes that include water, 30- or 50-amp electric and Wi-Fi connections. Pets are allowed. There are hot showers, private toilets and barbecue grills on the grounds for guest use.

Located 20 minutes from Nisku, the Spring Lake RV Resort offers a convenient location while being in a quiet and rural setting. There are RV sites for most size rigs. Water, sewer, cable TV and 30- or 50-amp electric connections come standard with each site. Pets are allowed. There are walking trails from the campground. A spring-fed lake at the RV park allows canoeing and fishing to be enjoyed right form the grounds. For those seeking urban adventures, Edmonton is a 20-minute drive from the RV resort.
