Lake Rita Blanca Park
Lake Rita Blanca Park is a former state park, now a city park. Camp on-site and you will have no travel time between you and your next adventure. Guests can play on Lake Rita Blanca. Improved and unimproved trails ring the entire circumference of the lake for hiking and biking. The park holds a nine-hole disc golf course, two rock climbing walls and a pond. Bird watching is fruitful around the lake. In Dalhart, Veteran's Memorial Park, North Side Park, Kella Hill Park and Farm Market 281 have walking trails. The Farm Market 281 trail accommodates bicycles. Finally, Dalhart Junior High has public use tennis courts.

Corral RV Park
Corral RV Park offers wide driveway access and pull through sites on gravel. Full hook-ups with cable television and Wi-Fi options are supplied for each site. The park can handle big rigs and has tent sites available as well. The tent sites have grassy yards and a picnic table, but do not support campfires. Showers and restrooms and a laundry facility are provided. The Swimming Pool Park in Dalhart has water park features, including a slide and splash area. Water aerobics classes and lap swims are available. The grounds have a skate park and basketball courts.

Sunshine Stables
Sunshine Stables is 35 miles outside of Dalhart. This RV campsite is unique in that it is also a full service horse stable. The stables offer an exercise area, arena and boarding facilities. Travelers can select an inside stall and turnout or larger outside stall for their animals. Horses are available for lease and equipment rental is available from the stables. The RV sites offer partial hook-ups and a stay close to your equine companion. Rita Blanca National Grasslands is 20 miles north of Dalhart. Travelers will find many trails to hike and ride. The park offers a picnic area and opportunities for bird watching.
