Knights of Columbus Hall
The Hallettsville Knights of Columbus have an area for RVs and campers offering full hookups. The sites are available any time of the year, and guests can pay for a nightly or monthly stay. Reservations are handled through the Knights of Columbus Hall by email or by phone. A stay at the Hall lot places travelers at the heart of the action when one of the many local events take place in the Hall. For a day trip, Palmetto State Park is 45 miles west of Hallettsville. The park is adjacent to the San Marcos River and has a small lake. Rent a pedal boat or canoe, hike the park trails, swim or go tubing.

Columbus KOA
The Columbus KOA is 22 miles northeast of Hallettsville. Guests can tent camp under shade trees or utilize one of the 51 full hookup RV sites. Travelers in both pop-ups and big rigs up to 50-feet long will find spaces that fit and spots 90 feet in length for pull-through access. Phone service is an option, and each site has free wireless Internet. The park offers firewood for sale and a camp store. Head 9 miles east of the KOA to Columbus and travelers can access the Lower Colorado River Trail for canoeing and kayaking.

Suncatcher RV Park
Suncatcher RV park provides campsites and RV sites 30 miles north of Hallettsville. The park has both back-in and pull-through sites, all with full hookups. Guests may opt for cable TV service and Wi-Fi. The shower and restroom facilities are made to resemble a home-like setting. A laundry and kitchen area are open for communal use. The grounds include open space for outdoor activities and games. Oak Thicket Park is 7 miles from the RV park and supplies hiking trails, a sandy beach and a boat ramp and dock on Fayette County Lake/Cedar Creek Reservoir. Oak Thicket also has a dump station available.
