The city of Columbus offers a beautiful urban sanctuary, with 15 parks in the downtown alone. Poised in a semi-rural area, the outlying areas of the city offer easy access to uncrowded roads, hiking paths and thick midwestern forests where exploring can take many forms. With an excellent Interstate highway system that runs around the entire northern corridor of the city, and an abundance of lodging choices, staying northeast of downtown allows you to easily escape to many of the areas trails and yet still be within 15 miles of the city center.

No place offers the extended stay amenities and comfort that you'll find at the InTown Suites. Located adjacent to Minerva Park and bordered by Interstate 270 and 71, the InTown Suites offers inexpensive weekly rates for a fully-furnished efficiency unit. The extended-stay rooms feature complete kitchens, a guest laundry and free local phone calls. There are several restaurants within two blocks of the hotel, in case you don't feel like cooking and the Columbus Square Mall is about a one-mile drive from the hotel.

Embassy Suites Columbus‎

The Embassy Suites in northeastern Columbus is located on the northern side of Interstate 270 by Westerville. As with all Embassy Suites, you get a double room with a bedroom and a lounge area. Hotel amenities include a free hot breakfast buffet in the morning and an evening manager's reception which features free cocktail, soft-drinks, beer or wine and a selection of appetizers. For the fitness conscious, the hotel has an indoor pool, a hot tub and a small work out area with cardio equipment. There's also a spacious lobby that's inviting for hanging out and spending time with family and friends.
