South Haven, Minnesota, is a mid-sized community in the St. Cloud region of the state. As Minnesota is known as the "Land of 10,000 Lakes," the South Haven area maintains that tradition with many lakes and tributaries in its environs. Canoeing, kayak-touring, lake and fly-fishing and swimming are all popular activities in the area. Hiking can be found in the forests surrounding South Haven. There are several RV parks in the greater South Haven area.

Clearwater Forest Community Campground

Clearwater Forest Community has RV sites for long-term guests and transient explorers. The campgrounds can accommodate most sizes of RV. Hookups include 30-amp electric, water and sewer. There are private showers and toilets, fire rings, and picnic tables on the premises. Firewood must be purchased from the manager. Outside wood brought into the park must be approved prior to coming into the park because of an infestation of insects. Pets are welcome. There are boat ramps and launches for guest use. Fishing, canoeing and kayak-touring can be found at the lakes near the campground.
