Located in central Florida, Auburndale, is surrounded by dozens of lakes where visitors will find fishing, boating and wildlife watching. The area around town also has hiking and biking trails and the Lake Myrtle Park has outdoors recreation within the city limits. Auburndale has a quiet, rural setting but lies within an hour of Orlando and Tampa.

Fish Haven Lodge

The Fish Haven Lodge is located two miles south of Interstate 4 and sits on the banks of Lake Juliana, a 1,000-acre waterway. The park is managed as a retirement style mobile home and RV park and has paved roads and on-site management. It also has a 110-foot fishing pier, boat slips, boat ramp and a lodge with a full kitchen and gathering room. The community has regular social gatherings and the lake offers boating, fishing and bird watching. RV sites have hookups for cable television, water, sewer and 50-amp electric. Although the park is popular with long-term visitors, it accepts daily and weekly visits.

Cypress Gardens Mobile Home and RV Park

This RV park is five miles from downtown Auburndale and offers over 120 RV sites on 120 acres. Free wireless Internet, swimming pool, showers and laundry facilities are among the amenities. The park is within minutes of several lakes that offer fishing, boating and birding. Winter Haven possesses multiple golf courses. The park has sites available on a daily, weekly and monthly basis with a sliding price scale based on the length of stay. RV sites are full hookups (50 amps).

Lakeshore Palms Travel Park

Located 12 miles southeast of downtown Auburndale, this RV park has a quiet location in the Winter Haven community. The park offers shaded sites, including 32 full hookups, eight with water and electric only and two tent sites. The park contains a private 200-acre lake with two docks and a boat launch. The lake has fishing, swimming, birding and boating. The park rents canoes and is within minutes of dining shopping and golfing.
