Located between Reelfoot Lake and the Mississippi River, Tiptonville and its RV parks are strongly oriented towards the needs of anglers. However, fishing and boating are not the only outdoor activities available there. Tiptonville is a 12-mile drive from the Reelfoot National Wildlife Refuge, and the Donaldson Point, Black Island and Gooch conservation areas are all within a 15-mile radius. These offer RV campers in the area hiking and nature watching.

Sportsman's Resort

This is an angler's resort with two separate RV campgrounds. Both offer campsites with full hookups and fish-cleaning stations. The northern Sportsman's Resort campground has a bathhouse and additional accommodations in the form of a motel/lodge. The southern campground has no bathhouse, and the additional accommodations there take the form of rental cabins. The resort offers three- and four-night package deals that include the costs of a boat rental, fuel, bait and other fishing supplies.

Cypress Point Resort

Cypress Point Resort has a lakeside campground with shady RV sites, each of which is equipped with full hookups. The resort also has other accommodations in the form of rental cabins and rooms at their lodge. Other amenities include a bait and tackle shop, clubhouse with game room, outdoor swimming pool, marina, fishing pier, fish-cleaning station and fishing guides for hire. Much like Sportsman's Resort, Cypress Point also offers three- and four-night package deals that include both the campground fees and the boat rental and supplies for a fishing trip.

Reelfoot Lake State Park

This Tennessee State Park has a pair of separate campgrounds. The main campground is set in a forested area and offers 68 paved and 18 gravel sites equipped with electrical (30 amps) and water hookups, as well as individual barbecue grills and picnic tables. It is also serviced by two bath houses, a dump station, a boat ramp and a fish-cleaning facility. The smaller Airpark campground has 14 gravel RV sites equipped with barbecue grills, picnic tables, water and 30-amp electrical hookups. It, too, has its own boat ramp and fish-cleaning facilities. Airpark is situated next to an air runway and is next to one of the park's three hiking trailheads. Other accommodations in the park come in the form of rooms at the lodge and rental cabins.
