Greenwood Campground

Greenwood Campground has tent sites and RV sites with amenities such as a swimming pool, shaded sites and electric and water hookups. Pull-through sites and big-rig access are available as well. RV sites have full hookups with 50-amp service. The campground is pet-friendly, and a playground is available as well. Fishing and boating are available to campers just six miles away on Lake Connelly at Kings Cove Marina.

Afton State Park

Afton State Park has 28 rustic sites for tents, one canoe site and two group campsites accommodating up to 40 people. Wood and water supply are available at the tent sites. The campground offers picnic areas, picnic shelters, a volleyball court, horseshoes and a warming house for winter which includes bathroom facilities, tables and a wood stove. The camp also has a swimming beach, boat access and fishing at the St. Croix River. Other activities include hiking, bird watching, cross-country skiing, mountain biking and snowshoeing. The park maintains 20 miles of hiking trails, four miles of biking trails and four miles of snowshoeing trails. The beginner loop for cross-country skiing is 2.5 miles long, and about 15 miles of trails are available for intermediate and advanced skiing.

St. Croix Bluffs Regional Park

This 579-acre regional park on St. Croix River. The park has 3,800 feet of shoreline along the river and has accommodations for tent sites, RV sites and group campsites for up to 50 people. Pull-through sites and back-in sites are available with electric and water hookups. Amenities include picnic tables, fire rings, bathroom facilities, sand volleyball court and picnic shelters. The camp also features a fishing pier, boat launch, hiking and cross-country ski trails.
