Eaton County Fairgrounds
The campground at the Eaton County Fairgrounds is open from April through October. This large campground has 340 sites with electricity and water. Facilities include bathrooms, showers and a dump station. Several casual restaurants are conveniently located within one mile of the campground. The fairgrounds are located right across the street from the 117-acre Bennett Park. The park has picnic areas, playgrounds, horseshoe pits and hiking trails including a 1,500 foot paved handicap accessible path.

Sherwood Forest Campground
Sherwood Forest Campground is 10 miles away from Charlotte. This campground is located on 60 wooded acres and contains 70 campsites. Some sites feature water and electric hookups while other sites are primitive with no facilities. The campsites can accommodate RVs up to 50 feet long and each site is allowed one tent or one RV. Amenities include restrooms, showers, arcade room and an outdoor pool. Up to two pets per campsite are welcome but must be leashed at all times. The area surrounding the campground features two miles of groomed hiking trails.

Rockey's Campground
Rockey's Campground is located on Bass Lake, 23 miles from Charlotte. This campground has 90 sites for tents and RVs with water and electric hookups. Facilities include restrooms, showers, free wireless Internet access, cable TV, laundry room, propane fill station, sheltered picnic area and a playground. An onsite camp store sells firewood, ice, groceries, bait and tackle. Rockey's features a boat ramp on Bass Lake as well as hourly or daily canoe and boat rentals. It is open from May to September.
