Aransas Pass, Texas is a small, coastal resort community on the Gulf of Mexico and near Corpus Christi. Bird-watchers flock to the region each winter to observe the many species of sea-fowl and migratory birds that frequent the area. Salt-water fishing, surfing, snorkeling, sea-kayaking and scuba diving are all easily accessible in the Aransas Pass region. RV travelers have several options for parks and campgrounds.

Ransom Road RV Park

There are pull-through and back-in sites at Ransom Road RV Park allowing most RV sizes to be accommodated. Site hookups include water, sewer, up to 50-amp electric, Wi-Fi and cable TV, and pets are welcome. Bathrooms, showers, coin-operated laundry and barbecue facilities are on the premises for guest use. Anglers can hire salt-water fishing charters at Redfish Harbor, just minutes from the campground. Surfing, sea-kayaking, scuba diving and snorkeling are all within minutes, at the beaches of Aransas Pass.

Country Villa Mobile Home and RV Park

Long term and short term rates are available for guests staying at the Country Villa Mobile Home and RV Park. Many guests stay for full winter seasons, giving it a community feel. Transient RV sites are available. RVs of most sizes can be handled. Water, sewer, cable TV and up to 50-amp electric are standard connections at sites. Pets are allowed. For transient RV guests, there are picnic tables, barbecue grills, bathrooms and showers. Aransas Pass has begun promoting itself as a premier bird-watching location, and those inclined toward avian observation can try their luck at the Aransas Pass Wetlands and Port Aransas, a 10-minute drive from the campground.
