Williamsburg is a small community located in northern Michigan just 5 miles west of Traverse Bay. Campers will find a variety of campground and RV resorts in the surrounding northern forests that are conveniently located close to salmon fishing in Traverse Bay and hiking in local state forest land.

Everflowing Waters Campground

Everflowing Waters Campground is located a mile northwest of downtown Williamsburg. It offers semi-shaded campsites that include electric hookups, a picnic table and fire ring. There are modern restrooms with private showers for guests as well as a central water-filling station and RV dump station. The campground has a playground for the children and hiking trails in the forest to the north of the camp. Yuba Creek flows through the campground, offering access to quality trout fishing.

Timber Ridge RV Resort

Timber Ridge RV Resort is located 6 miles south of Williamsburg and features a large recreation tract with trails for hiking, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling. Sites are spacious and include a paved pad, full or partial hookups and picnic tables. Facility amenities include modern restrooms with private showers, a laundry room and convenience store with snack bar. Timber Ridge has a host of recreational amenities on site that include a heated swimming pool, mini-golf course and playground along with basketball, volleyball and shuffleboard courts. The recreational has miles of multiuse trails that traverse the steep hilly terrain and allow for many wildlife-viewing opportunities.

Traverse Bay RV Resort

Traverse Bay RV Resort is a 150-acre camping facility located 5 miles west of Williamsburg. It offers 217 spacious sites that include a concrete pad and patio along with full hookups, picnic table and fire ring. Guests also enjoy free cable TV and free wireless Internet. Facility amenities include a large banquet facility, modern restrooms with private showers and a laundry room along with a clubhouse that has a library, fitness center and computer lab. Recreational amenities include tennis courts, free bicycle use and croquet courts as well several hiking trails in the woods surround the resort. The resort has 12 ponds spread throughout with most sites being waterfront or water view.
