The upscale Thai Chef is located about 10 minutes from Paramus in Hackensack, and was voted "Best Thai Restaurant in North Jersey" by the "New Jersey Monthly" for three consecutive years. The restaurant's chef and owner was head chef at the famous Tavern on the Green restaurant in New York City's Central Park. Thai Chef's dining room is a modern and simple space with minimal decoration. The menu features lobster bisque soup, Thai dumplings, green papaya salad and foie gras. Entrees include Chilean sea bass, New Zealand rack of lamb and venison in vert wine. The menu also includes grilled dishes like roasted crispy duck du jour, plus curry and noodle specialties such as Thai ravioli.
