Oxford is a small town in western Maine. It is home to the Oxford Plains Speedway, which has stock car and kart racing May through September, and the Oxford County Fair. Oxford also is on the northern tip of Thompson Lake and is less than 40 minutes from the Moose Country Challenge bike trail. Several lodging establishments are within 25 minutes of Oxford as well.
